Whitehouse Productions was founded in 2004 with the express purpose of helping
artists create music and sound their best while doing it. Every musician has a
unique "sound" that he or she wants to showcase and here at Whitehouse we have
the expertise, vision, and equipment to make it happen.
We believe that recording is an art form. Just as musicians and composers are
willing to spend countless hours and nights perfecting their songs, arrangements,
and performances, we are committed to making them sound right.
All of our engineers are also musicians who understand what
artists want out of a recording session. We take the time to outline every project's
goals, methods, and details to ensure that our sessions run as efficiently as possible.
As comfortable with live studio recording as we are with sampling, remixing, and
electronic production, we have worked hard to make Whitehouse capable of recording every
project- large and small.

Scott
White
Owner/Engineer/Producer
Scott has been recording music since 1988, starting with a 4 track cassette recorder,
SMPTE time code generator/MIDI interface, and an
old IBM computer running Cakewalk 2.0. In college, he took an electronic
music class elective and practically taught the class. He has been playing guitar
since 1980 and has averaged 90 live shows a year, either with local favorites
Darik and The Funbags or numerous other bands on an as needed basis.
After several years of recording bands and producing
full length records out of his home, Scott decided that a full service
facility was needed, and in late 2004 opened the doors
of Whitehouse Productions. While he is completely engaged in the details of a performance
and recording, he also identifies with the pure beauty of a magical
first take. Well versed in ProTools and the ability to capture and manipulate
a sound to suit an artist's need, Scott specializes in Modern Rock and Pop formats.
Through his tried and true production skills he helps bands attain their artistic vision
completely and within budget.

Jon
Conine
Engineer
Jon graduated Berklee College of Music in 2002 with honors. He holds
a degree in Music Production and Engineering. He also attended classes
at the New England Institute of Technology for electronics for two years.
Jon plays keyboards and drums, and is exceptional at bass guitar. He is
versed in all styles of music production, but his specialty, is in the
avant rock world. He enjoys experimenting with unconventional recording/mixing
techniques to bring something special to every project he is involved
in. While he is more of an engineer than a producer, he enjoys the challenge
of being able to use recording tools to help an artist reach their sonic
vision. He also has an active career in live sound reinforcement and enjoys
electronics design - in fact the studio employs some of his home made
signal processors, which are meticulously crafted to emulate some of the
world's most unique and useful studio pieces.
